Can England make it a hat trick as the Six Nations Championship gets under way?

The Six Nations kicks off with a cracker as Wales host Scotland (k-o 2.15pm).

The Welsh may be behind England and Ireland as favourites for the title (they haven’t won it since 2013), but are bullish about their chances this year.

Coach Warren Gatland has the experience and skill of Alun Wyn Jones to call upon, but has also put Worcester Warriors wing Josh Adams into the squad due to his electric form this season.

Following straight after this game and still on BBC1 (who share coverage with ITV), France host a confident Ireland (k-o 4.45pm).

Tune in early for a preview of the tournament on BBC1 (1.15pm).
