Final documentary in the series about people living with cancer. As downbeat as it might seem, there's hope in these stories
In this final programme, we meet three more of the 2.5 million people living with cancer in the UK.
Self-employed painter and decorator Steve has only recently been diagnosed with prostate cancer and worries about being off work as he recovers. Mark has been receiving treatment for bowel cancer for five years and, having been told it is terminal, is focusing on living long enough to see his young son start school. Katy has had two bouts of skin cancer and, with a 50/50 chance of it returning, takes part in a clinical drugs trial.
It is a tough journey for all of them with painful setbacks along the way.
