Mercenaries Sylvester Stallone, Jason Statham and Jet Li team up to go to the South America jungle.
There, they aim to take on evil bad guys Eric Roberts, Steve Austin and David Zayas – and save dictator’s daughter Giselle Itié.
After a slowish and muddled first half hour, co-writer-director Sly’s movie hots up to deliver some great, old-style mayhem.
All the players are good value, though Mickey Rourke could have done with some action rather than just mumbling through his anecdotes.
The scene where Sly meets his old pals Bruce Willis and Arnold Schwarzenegger is the funny highlight, while Li’s exciting rumpus with Dolph Lundgren is the pick of the fight scenes.
