Al Pacino is a cynical CIA instructor to new recruit Colin Farrell. Pacino puts Farrell through a wicked load of trouble with a nasty training regime and then orders him to root out a mole on the inside.

The movie claims ‘nothing is as it seems’, but this proves a bit of an own goal since the baddie is easy to spot.

However, Pacino spits out his lines with customary relish and Farrell is also on good form – and it’s  an exciting, pacy thriller.
