Four young Brits decide to join ISIS in this new mini-series. Showing across four nights, this absorbing drama from director Peter Kosminsky (Wolf Hall) follows four British Muslims who leave their lives in the UK behind them to join ISIS in Syria.

Travelling with best friend Ziyaad (Ryan McKen), Jalal (Sam Otto) is following his brother to Syria; doctor Shakira (Ony Uhiara) wants to use her medical training to help Islamic State; and teenager Ushna (Shavani Cameron) has been radicalised online.

The joyous arrival in Syria of these relatable characters may leave some viewers feeling uncomfortable – but in the three episodes that follow, oppressive and brutal aspects of the regime will test the quartet’s commitment to the cause.
