As This Farming Life begins its third series, hill farmer Johnny and his son Raymond gather their sheep for pregnancy scanning

This third series begins in freezing January as we head back down on the farm with six different families over the course of a year.

the Scottish Cairngorms, father and son Johnny and Raymond Irvine are braving the weather and some rough terrain to bring 450 pregnant sheep down from the hills 
so they can be scanned and health- checked.

In Fife, Scotland, Stevie Mitchell has a 400-strong buffalo farm – and he’s also getting married in the morning!

And, finally, in the Shetland Isles, sisters Kirsty and Aimee are bringing in their cows ready
