Tracy is genuinely scared when she makes her first appearance in court, charged with Charlie’s murder. Denied bail, she’s led away from the courtroom and cries out that she loved Charlie and she is an innocent woman. Back at the Barlows tensions are running high but, meanwhile, Tracy has composed herself and she prepares to fight to clear her name.

Jason struggles to come to terms with the death of his boss and best friend and while Sarah helps him to cancel building jobs, the police arrive to question him. Jason is quick to point out Tracy’s scheming ways and insists that she is guilty of his murder.

Chesney is still angry at both Les and Cilla for their respective dishonesty and Fiz has had enough. Fiz decides that she can’t leave Chesney with Les any longer and she tells Chesney that she’s going to look after him until Les can pull himself together.
