This amazing film tells the story of the two Voyager spacecraft launched in 1977 to explore the planets at the far reaches of our solar system.

In this Storyville special, scientists who worked on the probes reveal what it was like seeing Jupiter, Saturn, Uranus and Neptune close up for the first time.

The film also looks at the contents of the golden record – a phonograph to teach any alien life-forms Voyager may run into about life on Earth.

It contains 27 songs, 100 pictures and greetings in 55 languages.

So much of this film just makes your jaw drop, especially the fact that both Voyagers are still out there, floating in outer space…
