Although this Olympics may be a little bit too soon, there’s a lot of expectation resting on Yorkshire teenager Rebekah Tiler, the sole female weightlifter in Team GB at Rio. But then, despite being only 17 years old, she has already started to make her mark in the weightlifting world, having just missed out on a bronze in the 2014 Commonwealth Games (when she was just 15), and grabbing three bronzes at this year’s European Weightlifting Championships in Norway. Today Rebekah will take part in the women’s 69kg category. Could she be Britain’s next Olympic star?
