Athletics' showman, Usain Bolt, takes to the track for his last individual race
Ever since he burst onto the track at the 2008 Beijing Olympics, Usain Bolt – the fastest man who has ever lived – has been one of the world’s most admired sportsmen.
At last year’s Rio Olympics he achieved his ultimate goal and won the triple triple – three gold medals at three consecutive Olympic Games – and now he bids farewell to his competitive career with his last individual race, the 100m final (9.45pm).
Bolt won’t be defending his 200m title (Thursday, 9.50pm), so finally someone else will get a look-in. First, another chance to see feature-length documentary I Am Bolt (2.00pm, BBC1).
