Do not adjust your TV sets… The X Factor has an all-new judging panel as the search begins for Britain’s next big singing sensation.

Sitting alongside show boss Simon Cowell this time are pop superstar Robbie Williams, Loose Women panellist – and Robbie’s wife – Ayda Field,
and One Direction star Louis Tomlinson.

And as the auditions kick off at the SSE Wembley Arena, it seems the panel are settling
in nicely.

‘All three of the new judges have had no problem disagreeing with Simon,’ says Dermot O’Leary, who returns as host.

‘It becomes more of a battle
on the panel, which is healthier for the show.’

‘We’ve got a very strong show, from the silliness to the whimsy, to the actual gold-plated talent,’ adds Robbie.

‘I am finding that, with the auditions, the thing that’s worse than being terrible is
being average.’

‘You see a lot of average. But I can also happily say I’ve been blown away more than a
few times.’

The auditions continue tomorrow.
