Holby City fans are not happy with the Prime Minister!
TV fans were left fuming last night when Holby City was cancelled at the last minute – all thanks to Brexit.
The BBC was forced to make some last minute scheduling changes to its primetime shows, bumping off Holby City to make way for the latest breaking Brexit news.
But fans have been left fuming that they have missed out on their latest instalment of Holby City, which they now have to wait a whole week to see…
After the news special meant Holby was moved from its usual Tuesday night 8pm slot, the episode will now be aired next week, with the episode due to be aired next Tuesday now being shown on Wednesday instead.
Are you keeping up?!
But it wasn’t only Holby City fans who have been left cross with Theresa May.
EastEnders fans also took to social media to share their anger at the soap being moved from its usual 7.30 slot to the slightly later time of 8pm.
The BBC was then forced to fill in a slight scheduling gap by screening an episode of Would I Lie To You.
Thankfully for TV fans normal proceedings resumed after that when the usual episode of Shetland aired at 9pm like it was supposed to.
As TV fans complained to the BBC about their evening’s viewing plans being messed up, Theresa May suffered a catastrophic second Brexit defeat by 149 votes, a smaller margin than when they rejected it in January.
MPs will now get a vote on whether the UK should leave the EU without a deal, and if that fails, on whether Brexit should be delayed.
The next episode of Holby City airs on Tuesday 19th March at 8pm on BBC One, with the following episode airing on Wednesday 20th March, at 8pm on BBC One.
