Holby City had a night to remember at the MVSA Awards this weekend, with Louis Payne winning Best Emerging Talent and the show scooping Best Long Running Drama.
Holby’s executive producer Olvier Kent said: “I’m delighted to see Holby City being honoured by these awards. We are lucky to have so much talent in front of and behind the camera and it’s fantastic to see the team’s achievements recognised. ”
Louis (pictured) played the recurring role of Malick’s son, hospital porter Jake Patterson, in 2013.
The Movie Video and Screen Awards, held in Birmingham, support people of colour by identifying and rewarding the creative talents in the screen industry.
