Home and Away has landed an impressive seven nominations in the 51st Annual TV Week Logie Awards, which were announced at a star-studded event in Sydney.
Despite having left the Australian soap last year, Kate Ritchie is in the running for a much-coveted Gold Logie, but faces stiff opposition from Neighbours’ Ian Smith – aka Harold Bishop.
Kate also features among the line-up for the Silver Logie award for Most Popular Actress, alongside current Home and Away cast member Jodi Gordon (Martha Holden).
Other contenders include Todd Lasance (Aden Jefferies, pictured), up for Most Popular Actor, Rebecca Breeds (Ruby Buckton) for Most Popular New Female Talent and Jordan Rodrigues (Jai Fernandez) for Most Popular New Male Talent.
The winners will be announced in Melbourne on May 3, when the cast and crew of Home and Away will be looking to add to an already impressive awards haul of 34 Logies in the show’s 21-year history.
Home and Away screens weekdays at 5.30pm on Five.
