Home & Away bosses plan to clamp down on wayward behaviour by enforcing a new policy for cast members.

The latest young star to fall from grace is Logie Award-winning actor Todd Lasance, who was reportedly charged with cocaine possession in a drugs bust over the weekend.

A spokesman for Channel 7, which airs the teen soap in Australia, told The Australian Daily Telegraph: “We have access to the best advice and systems in order to manage crises or events such as this but, fundamentally, responsibility and discipline must be followed through – there are no second chances.”

According to the paper, the channel will enforce a ‘two strikes and you’re out’ policy on staff involved in drugs-related behaviour.

Todd – who plays troubled widower Aden Jefferies – isn’t the first Home & Away star to cause controversy.

In June, Jodi Gordon (Martha Mackenzie) had to check into rehab for alcohol-related issues after a night out, and Logie Award-winning Lincoln Lewis (Geoff Campbell) left the series after filming an explicit sex video of his girlfriend on his mobile phone.
