Home and Away hunk Lincoln Younes has revealed he’s heading to Hollywood to try his luck there.

The 19-year-old actor, who plays the youngest Braxton brother Casey in Home and Away, has already bought his ticket and is planning to catch up with his former co-stars in the US in July, as well as scout for potential jobs.

He told The West Australian: “I’ve booked my ticket. I’m pretty keen just to go over and catch up with some of the old Home And Away people and see what it’s like. I think it’s kind of the smart move. I’d definitely love to get into films.”

Steve Peacocke, who plays his screen brother Brax, will be taking a break from Home and Away while he films a supporting role in Hercules alongside Dwayne ‘The Rock’ Johnson in the States, while former Bay castmates Luke Mitchell, Ryan Kwanten, Isla Fisher and Melissa George have enjoyed Hollywood success.

Lincoln said his alter-ego, who is serving time in jail after being framed for armed robbery, isn’t a bad boy.

“It’s funny because a lot of people ask if he’s the bad boy but he is not at all. He always has the right intentions at heart and he always tries to do the right thing for the family and for himself and the people around him, but it never tends to go his way,” he said.

The actor revealed there is more excitement for Casey in the near future.

He said: “There is a lot of cool stuff coming up so hopefully the audience likes it. It’s good, the stuff we’re filming at the moment has been completely different for me, equally as hard, but very interesting to do.”
