Anthony Cotton and Fatima Whitbread have been voted off I’m A Celebrity…Get Me Out Of Here! in a double elimination ahead of Saturday night’s final.

The Coronation Street star was the first to leave on Friday’s show after receiving the lowest number of votes from the public, while former Olympic athlete Fatima – who was the last woman in the camp – finished third.

Their departure now means that Dougie Poynter and Mark Wright will battle it out to become King Of The Jungle.

Afterwards Anthony admitted he was “gutted” to have left camp one day before the final but added, “I did what I could do and I’m amazed that I lasted that long.

“You can’t ever plan for it,” he said. “Every part of it was emotional and exciting and I’ve genuinely loved every minute.”

Fatima also said she was disappointed to have missed out on the final but admitted she was “absolutely delighted” to have taken part in the show.

“It has been an enormous journey for me and sharing it amongst other new-found friends has been a real pleasure,” she told Ant and Dec.

“It would have been nice to go through the finishing line first but there have been some very tough contenders this year.”

Mark Wright is favourite to be crowned King of the Jungle on Saturday night, with William Hill offering odds of 2-5 on the TOWIE star winning, and Dougie the outsider at 15-8.

The final will be shown on ITV1 from 9.30pm.
