I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here! winner Gino D’Acampo has said he “enjoyed every single minute” of his time in the jungle.

Speaking to Ant and Dec shortly after he was crowned series champion, the Italian TV chef said that the jungle “had been full of crazy ups and downs”.

“But I really enjoyed every single bit of the experience. There wasn’t one day when I woke up and thought I should be doing something else.”

However he admitted that life in the jungle had been tough.

“For everybody at home I want to say there are no treats, you come here and you suffer,” he said.

“I thought I’d go to the jungle for three weeks with no phones, no laptops and no business,” the 34-year-old added. “I wanted to see if I could relax a bit, but of course I came here and ended up cooking 600 meals!”

Woodburn, meanwhile, said she “could not believe” she had done so well, finishing in second place.

“When I walked in with George we were the first ones there, and I thought ‘I can’t do this, it’s a pigsty’. But you just do it, don’t you.”

“Obviously you do miss your creature comforts,” she added, “you’re taken away from everything you take for granted and dropped into this hellhole where there’s not a scrap of comfort, the food is minimal. “I think we all did very well.”

Third placed White also admitted he was susprised to have reached the final.

“When I arrived on that horse I was aching all over and I thought I’m not going to make this,” he admitted, “but I found a job helping out with the water and I was fine then.

“The greatest thing for me was the group effort, we all helped out and we all became pals. I’ve never experienced anything like it in my life.”
