I’m A Celebrity: Janice ‘Bond’ triumphs in trial

Janice Dickinson made amends for her Bushtucker Trial failure by beating Rodney Marsh to win food for her team in Tuesday’s I’m A Celebrity, Get Me Out of Here!

The 1970s model made up for the first day’s trial, when she lost to Marc Bannerman and her camp went hungry in the ITV1 show.

Introduced to former footballer Rodney, she gave him a peck then joked: “If I kiss you more will you let me win?”

The challenge saw them each strapped into a car which contained 10 stars. They had to throw the stars from the car and then escape before it was submerged in water.

Rodney managed eight stars and afterwards shrugged: “If you’ve taken a penalty at Wembley in front of thousands of people, why would you be scared of drowning?”

But Janice got nine stars, telling presenters Ant and Dec: “I felt like my team-mates had to eat. I tried to be a fearless warrior. I felt like James Bond. That I had to do this to save the world. I’m Janice Bond!”

Rodders was gloomy in defeat: “Losing my first trial and losing against a woman, even though she got a fantastic score, is not good.”

Back in camp he grumbled: “I lost to a f***ing woman,” before correcting himself: “Joke, joke, joke.”

Once again proving he’s a funny guy.

He said later of the cosmetically enhanced Janice: “Anyone who spends that much on her body has to be some sort of bionic woman anyway…”
