Natalie Cassidy could be heading for the jungle for the latest series of I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here!, according to reports.

The Sun said that the ex-EastEnders star, 28, wants to do the show, but is worried about not seeing her one-year-old daughter Eliza while she is in Australia.

A friend was quoted as saying: “Natalie is very keen, but does have some worries about childcare for Eliza, who dotes on her mum.

“The show lasts for a month on the other side of the world, so that is a big consideration. But she really hopes these obstacles can be overcome.”

The actress – Sonia Jackson in the BBC One soap – has been rebuilding her life since she was attacked by fiance Adam Cottrell in May.

Cottrell pleaded guilty to assault and was ordered by a court to do 120 hours unpaid work and made subject to a restraining order banning him from contacting the star.

Other celebs tipped to star in the ITV1 show include The Only Way Is Essex’s Mark Wright, singer Sinitta, Coronation Street’s Antony Cotton and comedian Freddie Starr.
