TV fashion gurus Trinny Woodall and Susannah Constantine are set to enter the I’m A Celebrity…Get Me Out Of Here! jungle next month, according to the papers.
The Sun reports that the duo – best known for such style shows as What Not To Wear – will swap their luxury lifestyles and wardrobes for a spot of jungle living when the series returns in November.
And a source said that producers were hoping the pair’s outspokenness will prove popular with viewers.
“It’ll be great watching Trinny and Susannah trying to slum it in the jungle,” the insider told the paper.
“They are both strong and opinionated women and they’re bound to ruffle a lot of feathers. And they’ll have to wear the same T-shirts and shorts as everyone else.”
The pair hosted the series What Not To Wear – in which they helped viewers improve their dress sense – from 2001-2005 before switching to ITV for the series Trinny and Susannah Undress.
But they have been less of a fixture on terrestrial TV in recent years despite having success with their own fashion and slimming underwear ranges.
“Trinny and Susannah have enough money not to work but they miss the buzz of telly and they want to get back on to prime time and into proper fashion,” the source added.
Others who have reportedly signed up for the series include former Corrie actress Helen Flanagan, darts legend Eric Bristow, Birds Of A Feather star Linda Robson and comedian and TV presenter Brian Conley.
