The Pat Tate story.
The notorious Rettendon Range Rover murders of 1995 continue to exert a lurid fascination for the makers of British gangster movies. More’s the pity. This repellently violent example, third and hopefully last in the Footsoldier series, stars Craig Fairbrass as drug-dealing Essex thug Pat Tate, one of the Rettendon victims. A ‘psychotic six foot four yeti’ (as one character describes him), he can’t open his mouth without dropping a hail of f-bombs and c-grenades, and spends most of his time stoving in the heads of fellow geezer crims. Nasty stuff.
