This is the moment Lily Allen fulfilled a lifelong dream when she filmed a guest appearance on Neighbours.
The Smile singer had her photo taken holding a ‘Ramsay Street’ road sign with the entire cast of the long-running Australian soap and posted it up on her Twitter page.
She wrote: “Neighbours, everybody needs good neighbours. OMFG! Just saw Paul Robinson and Libby Kennedy.”
Later she added: “OK, so I did my scene. Me and doctor Karl get our flirt on.”
Alan Fletcher, who plays doctor Karl Kennedy, said: “It was fantastic to meet Lily, she has turned pop music on its head with her fabulous music. Neighbours was fortunate to have a guest like Lily on the show.”
And fellow Neighbours star Matthew Werkmeister, who plays Zeke Kinski, gave Lily’s performance the thumbs up.
He said: “Lily was so cool, really down to earth and we had lots of fun. She had a great presence about her and if she ever gave up music, she would have a career in acting.”
Lily played herself in the soap and also performed an acoustic version of 22 from her It’s Not Me, It’s You album.
Lily’s scenes are due to be shown in the UK, on Five, in the autumn.
