After months of speculation, actor Kyal Marsh has confirmed that he will be leaving hit soap Neighbours in the near future.
The young actor has revealed that he will be quitting the show that made his name – and that his character, Boyd Hoyland, is set to leave ‘on good terms and with a woman he is meant to be with’.
Kyal’s final scenes are set to be shot in the next few weeks, and there are already rumours circulating about his alter ego’s departure.
Stephanie McIntosh, who plays Sky Mangel, is due to leave around the same time.
Regular viewers will know Boyd and Sky were each other’s first loves, and have always remained friends.
But are they going to realise they’re still passionate about each other and that they’re destined to spend the rest of their lives together?
All will be revealed in a few months’ time.
Don’t expect to see Kyal in any other projects in the near future – he’s planning on swapping treading the boards for making them by joining his father’s carpentry firm as an apprentice.
He also wants to spend time in the Australian Army reserves.
