Neighbours’ anniversary celebrations will be taking place next year with some special episodes to mark 30 years sinnce the start of the Melbourne-set drama – and fans can look forward to seeing some of their old favourites on screen.
According to Digital Spy, joining the roster of former Neighbours moving back into Erinsborough for a limited period are original cast member Paul Keane, who played Des Clarke, Alin Sumarwata as Vanessa, while current programme producer Scott Major will return to an acting role as Lucas.
Gary Files will be back as Tom Ramsay, Andrew Williams returns as Lou’s son, Guy Carpenter, and Anne Scott-Pendlebury will make a special guest appearance as Aunt Hilary, who last appeared on Neighbours in 2005.
Melissa Bell (pictured, above) will also be going back to her soap-opera roots as Lucy Robinson (she was the third actress to play Lucy), alongside Stephanie McIntosh as Sky Mangel and Nell Feeney as Janelle Timmins.
They join the already announced returning cast members Anne Charleston and Ian Smith as Madge and Harold Bishop, and singer Delta Goodrem as Nina Tucker.
