Wannabe parents Steph and Mark attend an appointment with Sonya, who's their surrogate mother
It’s a big moment for Sonya (Eve Morey), Steph (Carla Bonner) and Mark (Scott McGregor), in Neighbours this week, as the trio head to the hospital for an ultrasound scan. With Sonya pregnant with their child, having offered to become a surrogate mum for the wannabe parents, it’s an emotional time for all.
With the arrangement having caused so much drama for Steph and Mark and Sonya and her husband Toadie (Ryan Moloney), who was reluctant for his wife to go ahead with the surrogacy, reaching this point is a major milestone for the trio, who got pregnant during the first round of IVF. But with cracks appearing in both couples’ relationships, is the joy of seeing the baby on screen set to last?
