24 hailed ‘most addictive’ show

Kiefer Sutherland’s 24 has been voted the most addictive TV series.

The award-winning TV thriller – which sees Kiefer’s character Jack Bauer battle against terrorism – beat off Lost, Friends and Heroes to top the poll by more than 3,000 Lovefilm members.

“Although crime doesn’t pay, as our list reveals, it most certainly pulls in the viewers, and shows like 24 have clearly found the right mix of suspense, drama and action to keep us coming back for more,” said Darren Bignell from Lovefilm.com.

The Wire and Dr Who were UK shows that made the list, alongside other favourite American series like CSI, Prison Break, The Sopranos and Sex And The City.

24, which has won Kiefer numerous awards for his portrayal of the invincible agent, has spanned seven seasons to date, and is currently filming on the eighth.
