A Seasonal Movie Talk Card from Star Wars: Episode V – The Empire Strikes Back

The second part of George Lucas’s original Star Wars trilogy ends with Harrison Ford’s Han Solo being frozen in carbonite… This scene was reportedly added to the script because Ford hadn’t signed a three-picture deal and was angling to have his character killed off. The story goes that Lucas refused, persuading Ford that Solo still had an important role to play in the final part of the trilogy The Return of the Jedi.
