While Susannah Constantine is an unlikely winner, according to the bookies
Pussycat Dolls singer Ashley Roberts is the firm favourite to win this year’s Strictly Come Dancing.
The 36-year-old singer is comfortably clear at the top of the betting market, with Ladbrokes making her just a 4-1 shot to waltz off with the famous Glitterball trophy.
Ashley has a dance background, although she told the MailOnline at the show’s launch that she didn’t think that would be a help to her chances, saying: “Dance experience? I mean if there’s booty popping in ballroom maybe that will, but I don’t think there is.”
Next in the betting at 6-1 is former Death in Paradise star Danny John-Jules, who revealed that his training had been interrupted by an unusual incident, and Capital radio host Vicki Hope.
Also towards the top of the betting market is Blue singer Lee Ryan at 7-1 and Steps star Faye Tozer at 8-1.
Early tip for a quick exit is presenter Susannah Constantine, who’s the massive 40-1 outsider to win the new series of Strictly Come Dancing. Punters also aren’t giving former England cricketer Graeme Swann much hope, making him a 25-1 chance to spin his way to glory.
Strictly Come Dancing returns in September to BBC1.
