Jack Whitehall’s popular comedy Bad Education will return for a third series on BBC3 this autumn.

Made by Tiger Aspect Productions, the series is set at fictional Abbey Grove comprehensive school, and it’s co-written by Freddy Syborn and his old school pal  Jack Whitehall, who also leads the cast as hapless teacher Alfie Wickers, alongside Sarah Solemani as Miss Gulliver and Mathew Horne as headmaster Mr Fraser.

Other series recommissioned by BBC3 include army comedy Bluestone 42 and Some Girls, both returning for third series, while the channel has also announced a new six-part comedy series 600 Days.

This is set in a young offenders’ institution and stars Ricky Champ, who played Paul in hit comedy Him & Her, plus stand-up comedian Elis James.
