Big Brother: Gerry now favourite to go

Gerry has overtaken Kara-Louise as the favourite to be evicted by the Big Brother gurus on Friday.

According to bookmakers Paddy Power, the 31-year-old now has odds of 1-2 to be given the boot this week, while Kara-Louise is 9-4.

The only other nominee who appears to be in danger of being voted out is Carole, with odds of 7-2. Jonty and Brian are both 40-1 to go while Liam, at 80-1, is the rank outsider.

All the housemates who failed to achieve guru status during the self-improvement task are up for eviction this week.

On Friday Ziggy, Tracey and the twins – who as gurus are immune from eviction – will have to choose who leaves the house, from the two housemates who receive the most votes from the public.

Kara-Louise was favourite to go earlier in the week – however Gerry’s behaviour this week, which culminated in a huge row with Carole over the lack of food on Wednesday night, has done him few favours.

The twins remain the favourites to win the show at 5-6, followed by Brian at 11-10 and Liam at 9-1. Tracey, the next favourite, is a long way behind at 40-1.
