Aaron Paul has revealed he would like to reprise his role as Jesse Pinkman in the Breaking Bad spin-off prequel, Better Call Saul.

The 34-year-old American actor, who played the drug addict-turned-dealer in the hit US series, would have no hesitations about returning to the character that turned him into a star and is in talks for a recurring role for several episodes.

“If Better Call Saul decided that they wanted me to be a part of it, big or small, I would be there in a heartbeat,” he said.

“It’d be fun to play Jesse in his lighter, happier days.”

Better Call Saul, which is set to premiere on US screens in November 2014, will centre on scheming lawyer Saul Goodman, played by Bob Odenkirk. Jonathan Banks will reprise his role as Mike Ehrmantraut, a former cop turned hitman.
