It’s one way to get in the mood – Rory Bremner’s wife has apparently let slip that the TV impressionist was dressed as Tony Blair when she fell pregnant.
Tessa Campbell Fraser revealed that her 46-year-old hubby was in full Prime Minster attire – including a wig and make-up – when she conceived her daughter Lila, now three, according to the Mirror.
“He came home from filming one night still wearing his Blair hair and make-up,” she told the paper. “One thing led to another and we ended up in bed. And then I fell pregnant.”
Rory was impersonating the PM for his show Bremner, Bird And Fortune.
Just last week it seems he tricked Foreign Secretary Margaret Beckett into believing he was Chancellor Gordon Brown – apparently he encouraged the unsuspecting minister to give him the low-down on all of her cabinet colleagues.
