Bret Michaels appeared to be in fine form as he took to the American Idol stage just weeks after suffering a brain haemorrhage.
The 47-year-old US rocker and reality TV star sang and played the guitar on the star-studded season finale of the talent show.
The Poison frontman joined Idol finalist Casey James on one of the band’s biggest hits, Every Rose Has Its Thorn.
Bret suffered a brain haemorrhage in April. He was hospitalised again on May 20 for what doctors called a ‘warning stroke’ and was diagnosed with a hole in his heart. Doctors said the conditions are likely unrelated.
Bret announced on his website this week that although he wasn’t 100 per cent, he planned to continue his tour, starting on Friday. The star said that seeing fans “rockin’ rollin’, smiling faces … is the best medicine I can think of”.
