Like Ross and Rachel in Friends, Casualty is on a break! BBC has now revealed when the show will be back.

Casualty fans tuning in this Saturday expecting to see Connie Beauchamp and co in action will be disappointed because the BBC1 hit isn’t on!

The medical drama is taking a week off because the BBC is showing the Royal British Legion Festival of Remembrance, which sees Huw Edwards front coverage of the concert marking the centenary of World War One from the Royal Albert Hall.

Casualty is normally on at around 8.30, but the Royal British Legion Festival takes that slot, starting at 8.30.

No Dylan this Saturday

This Saturday’s BBC1 evening schedule without Casualty looks like this…

5.40 The Time It Takes – episode two of the game show hosted by Joe Lycett

6.10 Pointless Celebrities – Sally Phillips and Nina Conti among those taking part

7.00 Strictly Come Dancing – the eight remaining couples compete

Strictly Come Dancing 2018 Stacey Dooley

Stacey Dooley is one of the favourites to win this year’s Strictly

8.30 Royal British Legion Festival of Remembrance 2018.

Casualty isn’t the only big BBC1 show being affected by changes in the schedules. EastEnders won’t be on a week on Friday because the BBC is showing Children In Need.

Instead, there will be a double bill of EastEnders on Thursday 15th November.

Casualty will return on Saturday 17th November at 9.10pm on BBC1.
