Cheryl Cole is in talks about appearing on Channel 4, according to reports.

The Sun said that a number of ideas have been mooted, including one that would see the former X Factor judge present a fashion slot.

A source was quoted as saying: “Cheryl is hugely passionate about fashion – it’s the thing she loves most after music… what she’s interested in doing is something with a bit more depth to it than just a frivolous fashion show.”

But a Channel 4 spokesman remained tight-lipped, saying: “We have no comment to make on speculation that we’re in talks with Cheryl Cole about possible projects.”

Cheryl, who recently launched her own range of shoes and is now working on a new album, has been tipped to return to TV after her short-lived appearance on the US X Factor.

Reports suggested that she could take up a role on BBC show The Voice, but The Sun said that TV chiefs had decided against hiring former X Factor judges.
