Ciaran’s looking for a one-way ticket out of Coronation Street next week. But may be going about it the wrong way!
Ciaran’s in a fix after losing the deposit for his and Michelle’s wedding venue in a game of poker with Karl. He asks for the money back, but Karl’s already lost it all at the bookies. Desperate, Ciaran pays best mate Peter a visit…
Ciaran tries to butter up Peter by asking him to be his best man, before asking him for the money that Karl lost! Peter is not impressed…
Ciaran needs to make some money before Michelle finds out he’s failed to pay the deposit for their wedding venue. At the Bistro, he pretends to be a co-owner and arranges to cater for a birthday bash
Ciaran’s been up all night cooking for the customer’s birthday bash. He panics when he sees Bob, who’s come to pay for the catering, talking to Bistro owner, Nick
Nick realises that Ciaran has used the Bistro’s facilities and stock to make a bit of cash on the sly, and sacks the chef on the spot!
Seeing his friend in trouble, Peter offers to lend Ciaran the cash to save his relationship with Michelle, who’s already discovered that the wedding venue hasn’t been booked
Michelle’s horrified that Ciaran gambled away their money. He says he was just looking for a buzz because he hates living on the Street, and asks her to return to work on the ships. At her hen party, Michelle tells her guests that the wedding’s off!
Michelle doesn’t really want to leave Weatherfield, but she’d rather do that than lose Ciaran, so it’s goodbye from him and goodbye from her!
But will Michelle really leave the Street with Ciaran? Or will she have a change of heart? Find out in Coronation Street on ITV1 from Monday, November 21
