Lily Allen wants to appear in Come Dine With Me to celebrate her retirement.

The 24-year-old singer announced earlier this year she would be retiring from the music industry when her world tour ended and she performed at London’s O2 arena on Sunday night.

Lily wrote on Twitter on Monday afternoon: “Now that I’ve retired in gonna try and get on Come Dine With Me – I’m making chicken tarragon and leek pie tonight, yum.”

And the Channel 4 show’s Dave Lamb tweeted back, saying: “Would you like me to have a word? (the voice over bloke)”, to which Lily replied: “ooooh yes please…”

While The Fear singer has announced she is retiring, her musical career is not completely over as she has signed up to play at several festivals this summer.

Askled to clarify on Twitter, she wrote: “Retiring from writing, recording and touring under the name ‘Lily Allen’.”
