Maria’s still struggling to come to terms with everything that’s happened. She tells Audrey she hates herself for allowing Tony into her and baby Liam’s life.
When Carla turns up at No 7, she’s confronted by Helen and Barry. Helen accuses her of knowing all about Liam’s murder, but Carla feigns ignorance and Maria is forced to play peacemaker.
Carla continues to play dumb when she’s interviewed by the police, who quiz her about Tony and his accomplice, Jimmy.
The following morning, the factory workers are stunned when they see Carla has returned.
Meanwhile, a defeated Tony is charged for Liam’s murder and for attempting to kill Roy.
The next day, Tony is taken to court and remanded in custody.
