Corrie viewers are all off to the Rovers as Toyah charges shockingly low price for a LARGE glass of red!

Don't go to the Bistro if you're saving the pennies, very pricey!

Coronation Street viewers were in hysterics last night over how cheap the bar prices are at the Rovers!

While most pubs charge £5 plus for a large glass of red wine, Toyah Battersby (Georgia Taylor) asked Mary Taylor (Patti Clare) to shell out just three quid!

One viewer wrote: “I wish the Rovers was my local! £3 for a large glass of red wine, bargain!” Another said: “3 quid for a large red wine!!!!!! GET ME ON THE COBBLES”

The pub is obviously the place to drink in Weatherfield if you’re saving your pennies, as earlier this week Tracy Barlow (Kate Ford) was charged £6.95 for a glass of Prosecco while toasting her engagement to Steve McDonald (Simon Gregson), outraging viewers. One stunned viewer commented: “£6.95 for a glass of prosecco at the Bistro!? You can get a bottle for that! Don’t think I’d be going in the bistro.”

So the lesson we’ve learned is if you’re on a night out in Weatherfield and feeling a bit skint, head off to the Rovers and you’ll be in for a very cheap night!

Coronation Street continues on ITV tomorrow evening at 7.30pm and 8.30pm.
