Sixties singer Lulu and McFly’s Harry Judd are among those who have been named as possible contestants in Strictly Come Dancing‘s 2011 line-up, as speculation mounts in the papers.

The pair are among a host of celebrities from the worlds of TV, sport, music and politics who The Sun reports will be taking part in the BBC One show this year.

The speculated line-up comes ahead of official confirmation of who will be taking to the dancefloor, which will be revealed on The One Show on Tuesday.

And the celebrities will learn on Wednesday who their professional partners will be in a special launch show to be screened next Saturday night.

Harry is no stranger to the ballroom, having won the Children In Need Strictly Come Dancing special in 2010.

Show bosses are reportedly now deciding whether to reunite him with Ola Jordan, who was his professional partner on that show.

And reports suggest that if Lulu takes part she could attract viewers of all ages.

“Lulu is lots of fun and will bring in viewers who remember her from the Sixties,” an insider said, “but also younger fans will know her from her duet with Take That on Relight My Fire. Harry will tick the heartthrob box.”

Others reportedly taking part include ex-MP Edwina Currie, former EastEnders actress Anita Dobson and Daybreak sports present Dan Lobb, while funnyman Rory Bremner and One Show presenter Alex Jones have also been tipped to take to the floor.

Sven Goran Eriksson’s ex-girlfriend Nancy Dell’Olio is also reported to be in the frame, along with Waterloo Road star Chelsee Healey and astrologer Russell Grant. The latter is reportedly to have shed around 10st in weight to be able to take part.

And a pair of former Neighbours stars – Jason Donovan and Holly Valance – are also being tipped to join the line-up.

Following next week’s launch the series will begin with a double bill on Friday September 30 and Saturday October 1.
