Courteney Cox has revealed she hasn’t returned to the dating game yet.
The Cougar Town actress, who is separated from David Arquette, her husband of 11 years, is a bit tentative about heading back into the fray.
“I have no desire right now – I’m not saying never; it just seems weird,” she said in US Harper’s Bazaar.
“I don’t even know how that would happen or how you meet people. I don’t like to go out. I’m not great at small talk… I don’t like to go to parties. There’s a sign on my forehead: exiting social life, entering into isolation.”
Courteney – who reunites with Scream castmate Neve Campbell and director Wes Craven for Scream 4 – admitted she still has feelings for David, who she met on the set of the original film in 1996.
“I don’t know what the future holds and I guess because I have strong feelings for him,” she said.
She also defended his antics, adding: “You can’t really get mad at David because he’s not a malicious person. I’m his biggest protector. I can’t help it.”
And the 46-year-old remains positive about their marriage, saying: “I think it’s important, no matter what the outcome is, when you take these risks [in a marriage] and are willing to get real and get messy. I think you can only become stronger people, whether it’s together or apart. In the end, everything will be better.”
