Judges Craig Revel Horwood and Darcy Bussell spoke glowingly about the evolution of Strictly, with Craig commenting that the BBC’s increased investment was paying dividends.
Speaking on the red carpet at the National TV Awards, Craig told What’s on TV: “The entertainment value has really shot up on the BBC. They’re spending a lot more money on it and you can see that, it’s money well spent – it’s fantastic family entertainment for absolutely all age ranges and I think people would be pretty miffed if it wasn’t onevery Saturday, because it is the build-up to Christmas and it’s what people look forward to.”
Darcy explained her love for the show: “I think if you’re very passionate about dance… on that show it’s giving that passion to other people. For me it ticks ever box and it’s just lovely to be part of.”
