Just six celebrity skaters remained to tackle Dancing On Ice 2010’s movie-themed show – but who would be hanging up their skates for good?
This week’s show kicked off with a glitzy routine from Torvill and Dean
The professional skaters joined the pair for a routine with a touch of old-fashioned Hollywood glamour
And then the couples donned black tie and evening gowns for their first appearance on the ice. Well it is Oscars night…..
We can’t possibly imagine why Danny Young’s Rocky-inspired routine was so popular with both viewers and judges…..
Danniella Westbrook wasn’t performing to Pretty In Pink – in fact she was paying tribute to the classic musical Grease
Mikey Graham had a bad week last week, but he returned on top form, skating to When You Say Nothing At All by Boyzone bandmate Ronan Keating!
Gary Lucy was another star taking on a John Travolta routine – although this one was from the cult hit Pulp Fiction
Kieron Richardson dressed up as The Pink Panther – although quickly shed his pink raincoat
Finally it was Hayley Tamaddon’s turn…..
Her Bollywood-inspired routine to the theme from Slumdog Millionaire was fast and furious, but would it find favour with the judges?
It would appear so! The Emmerdale star landed herself the first full house of the season from the ice panel – much to her amazement
Her skating partner Daniel Whiston was quick to offer congratulations
When it came to the results show, Danniella and Mikey found themselves in the bottom two
And after a nail-biting skate-off, the judges chose to save Danniella – making Mikey the latest celebrity skater to leave the competition
The singer said he had been on an “amazing adventure” during his time on the show. And now just five remain……
