It’s week two of Dancing On Ice 2010 – and this week saw the male celebs take to the rink for the first time
As always, Torvill and Dean and the professionals kicked off the show, this week with a colourful routine
First on to the ice was The Bill’s Gary Lucy, hoping to avoid the dreaded skate-off
Dr Hilary Jones made a cautious debut – but the public enjoyed it even if the judges had reservations
Coronation Street’s Danny Young grabbed the highest score of the night for his routine
Then it was the turn of funnyman Bobby Davro – and although the judges were certainly ‘entertained’ they didn’t think much of his skating
Hollyoaks star Kieron Richardson was a standout in pink
And his performance was pretty good too, with the judges suggesting he could be one to watch
Holby City’s Jeremy Sheffield overcame a recent hamstring injury to deliver a stirring performance
Finally, Boyzone’s Mikey Graham took to the ice, performing to the Bowie classic Let’s Dance
Vanessa White took a break from Popstar To Operastar to perform with her band The Saturdays during the results show
Gary Lucy and Bobby Davro found themselves in the bottom two
Both couples reprised their routines….
…but ultimately the judges voted unanimously to save Gary – making Bobby the first male celebrity to hang up his skates
The 50-year-old said he was disappointed, but had given it his best shot. Next week – the men and women compete together for the first time this series!
