Dannii Minogue tipped to join BBC’s X Factor rival

Speculation is mounting that Dannii Minogue may join the judging panel of the BBC’s new The X Factor rival – leaving ITV trying to lure her back.

According to the News Of The World the 39-year-old – who revealed last weekend she would not be on the next series of The X Factor – has been approached about being a judge on BBC1’s upcoming talent show The Voice.

However the paper reports that ITV is desperate for Dannii to stay with them – and have made her offers of work on other shows.

“This episode is turning into a disaster for ITV,” a source said. “There has been an overwhelming response from X Factor fans saying they won’t watch now Dannii isn’t on the panel.”

“If she works on the BBC’s new show The Voice it would be a real blow for The X Factor. So ITV has offered several high-profile shows.

Dannii quit The X Factor after revealing that audition dates clashed with her filming schedule for Australia’s Got Talent.

The new X Factor panel – tipped to include Gary Barlow, Kelly Rowland and N-Dubz singer Tulisa – will reportedly be revealed later this week.

Further speculation is mounting about who may join the judging panel of The Voice – with Robbie Williams and Adele among those rumoured to be taking part.

The show, which has been a huge hit in the US and which sees teams of singers competing against each other for a record contract, will hit screens in the UK in early 2012.
