X Factor’s newest judge Dannii Minogue has spoken about how delighted she is to have two acts in the final.

Dannii mentors both Rhydian Roberts and Leon Jackson, who will be going head-to-head on Saturday night with Simon’s act Same Difference.

All three acts secured a place in the final after last Saturday’s show, which saw judge Louis Walsh’s last remaining act, Niki Evans, eliminated. All of Sharon Osbourne’s acts were voted off early in the live shows.

Letting out a big whoop and throwing her arms in the air, an elated Dannii said: “I’m absolutely rapt. It couldn’t have gone better for me.”

Dannii was brought on board as the ITV1 show’s fourth judge alongside Simon, Sharon and Louis when the boys and girls categories were split into two separate groups.

And she explained how she feared she would fall at the first hurdle. “In week one, we weren’t sure that Leon would get to the end of the song and, for Rhydian, we wondered if anybody would see the real person and keep him on the show.”

But does she think she can go all the way and win? “I think, for the three of us, it’s a victory already,” she said.
