This week in EastEnders, Patrick is struggling to come to terms with Denise's apparent suicide.
Still reeling from her death, Denise's family meet with the funeral director to discuss arrangements.
When it comes to choosing the coffin Libby wants something special. Patrick and Lucas suggest something less showy, but Libby's insistent.
Kim shows up to offer her nieces a little TLC, but the girls, especially Libby, are too distraught to eat.
Having been acting strong for her younger sister, Chelsea finally cracks.
Kim comforts Chelsea as she pours her heart out…
Meanwhile, Patrick finds solace in Jim. He opens up, saying he messed everything up with his own sons and feels torn about Denise, who wasn't even his own family.
When a brooding Patrick returns, Kim yells at him about his behaviour and tells him to be more supportive of Libby and Chelsea.
Angry, Kim says the girls should come away with her… and Patrick agrees. He says they should take responsibility for their own lives – and he wants his house back!
Later, Billy and Charlie are at Patrick's playing cards. After knocking back the drinks, Patrick tries to get the party started…
The rest of the family are disgusted when they walk in to find Patrick acting drunk and rowdy.
When a furious row erupts between Kim and Patrick, Lucas steps in to calm the situation…
The pair end up in the allotments where Patrick tells Lucas how angry and shocked he is that Denise took her own life. He calls her selfish and can't understand why she did it…
A calm and collected Lucas tells him everyone has secrets… but will Patrick ever find out the shocking truth about what really happened to Denise? Watch the drama unfold in EastEnders from Monday 19 July.
