There's a shock heading for Ramsay Street resident Sheila Canning when she makes a horrific discovery in today's Neighbours...
There’s big drama heading for Neighbours‘ Sheila Canning today when she is helping get new tram bar ‘The 82’ ready for its opening night, only to discover the bloodied weapon used in the attempted murder of Paul Robinson!
Neighbours fans watched in horror as Ramsay Street legend Paul was attacked under the cover of darkness recently, and until now the police have failed to find the crowbar used in the violent attack.
And despite the fact they have no evidence, the police are convinced that Gary Canning is the culprit who landed Paul in hospital fighting for his life, all because Roxy Willis gave a false statement.
But while Paul also tries to pin the blame on Gary thanks to their ongoing feud over Amy Williams, Gary maintains he is innocent. But not everyone believes him…
When Sheila finds the bloodied crowbar wrapped in a towel today she panics, knowing it doesn’t look good for her son that the weapon is right outside his place of work.
And thinking that her son is guilty, she goes to drastic lengths to cover for him.
While no one is looking, Sheila takes the vital evidence home, instead of taking it to the police station, knowing that handing it over would make Gary look more guilty than ever.
But once home Sheila starts to panic that she doesn’t know what to do with the crowbar, and it’s not long before Kyle comes back and catches her with it!

Kyle begs his gran to take the weapon to the police station, maintaining that his dad is innocent… but Sheila is adamant – whether Gary is innocent or not, finding this evidence outside the new tram doesn’t look good.
Sheila is determined that she won’t let her son go to jail, but just how far is she prepared to go to protect him?
