A distraught Lucas races to the hospital to see his son, who has fractured his ankle and skull.

Heartbroken Lucas is convinced that his own sins have resulted in God punishing Jordan. Denise suggests Ben could have been the culprit.
With Jordan's condition unchanged, Lucas reads his son a passage from the Bible about taking vengeance. Is the preacher planning deadly revenge?
Meanwhile, Abi persuades a guilt-stricken Ben to visit Jordan in hospital.
Later, furious Lucas twigs that it was Ben who hit his son. But as he questions the boy over his actions, he can't help but think of Trina and Owen.
The next day, the deranged preacher locks himself in the community centre and prays for his sins to be forgiven. He's convinced he is somehow responsible for Jordan's fate.
